Question O-235 Vacuum Pump Installation

I have to replace the vacuum pump on my O-325-L2C (the old overhauled one lasted 900 hours). I'm going to get a Rapco pump, likely new since it's only $70 more than overhauled.

Aircraft Spruce also lists the shear coupling and a bushing. Do these come with the pump or do I need to buy them also?

The Lycoming book shows a gasket under the pump and an oil seal. Do these come with the pump (I bet not). Anyone have part numbers for those 2 parts?

Thanks for any help,

Default Vacuum pp shear coupling

On the vacuum pps I've replaced, they siezed up inside and that nylon shear coupling is where it "gives". I suppose AS sells the shear coupling separetly for those who want to rebuild their pps. The replacement pps I've bought came ready to bolt on, including gasket.

It should come complete. Ours did, and +1 for Rapco new pump, 500+ hours and going strong, no signs of weakening.

Default vacuum pump oil seal part number for O-235-L2C?

Thanks to all - I'll buy the new Rapco pump.

Does anyone have the part number for the "garlock seal" that is on the engine? I'd like to have it handy when I do the pump replacement in case that is the problem.

Thanks,

dave
