Exclamation Hurricane RITA (RV relocation requests)

Morning all,

The 3/5-Day Cone now shows a serious hit on the Texas coastline between Galveston and Houston.
http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/grap...912.shtml?5day

If you live in the south Texas area I'm sure we can make room for you up north. You can also reference the RV Inland Locations List for other places to relocate temporarily.

Here's hoping it's not a damaging storm.

Best always,
Doug

Doug put me on the list. Have T-hangar with nothing in it at LZU, northeast of Atlanta. Not moving my plane to the airport anytime soon but you have to grab a hangar while you can here in Atlanta.

Good luck to all those in Rita's path. May it spare everyone.

Default Hurricane Refuge

Doug,

I am a long ways away, even for an RV but if anyone would like to go as far as Northern Illinois, I am sure we could find space for 3 or 4 at our home field, Cottonwood Airport, Rockford, IL ( 1C8 )

I can be reached at 815-262-3153 or RV4WGH@aol.com

Happy Flying Safely,

Wally Hunt

Default Hurricane Relocation Housing

All,

We have room in our hangar/home for 3 to 4 RV's in Austin, TX We are at 40XS in between Georgetown and Austin. Airnav shows 40XS as a turf runway but we just paved it so it should read 3000 ft. paved instead of turf.

You can reach me at 512-633-0451 I will be around all week and weekend.

Default Room at Alburquerque, NM

I'd like to offer my hangar at KAEG (Double Eagle, on Albuquerque's West Mesa) to any RVer's wanting to get out of Hurricane Rita's way. I *might* be able to squeeze in two in a pinch.
