Default QB Fuel Tank Leaks?

I would like to know if anyone has experienced leaks in QB fuel tanks? If so, where?

Thanks,
John R.

Default Yup (sorta...)

I had a leak just the other day from my QB tanks... but it was from the fuel sender screws, which was installed by yours truly......

No leaks from the parts that Van's built!

Default sort of

I found evidence of a small leak in my QB 9A left fuel tank. Only seemed to happen when tank was full. I pulled the @#%&*@ tank twice. All I got was experience removing and installing the tank. Each time I tested it off the airplane.....no leak. I basically gave up untill on a hunch switched fuel caps from left to right. Guess what, it was the fuel tank cap. Seemed to spill out in climb or when turning so I never noticed it untill acting on my hunch. The weird thing about it was where the blue streak was showing up was far...far from the fuel cap, on the inboard bottom of the wing where the fuselage skin overlaps. How it made it's way to that point without other evidence I don't know. So don't pull your fuel tanks untill you check all fittings, the fuel sender and large cover plate and your fuel caps. Jack
