Default Tool quality ??

I'm new to rivets and air tools. I plan to prepare my garage for building over the next year or so and then geta RV-9A on order. Can anyone comment if this air tool is of reasonable quality?

I see the sale has closed.

You have lots of time.

Since you are buying on Ebay, take your time & check out the sellers. Toolsez seems to be a good seller; a friend and I have each bought from him and he puts things together in groups, so he may list 3 bucking bars, a drill, 15 bits and some clecos as well as a rivet gun. Some of the stuff you won't need, but he includes in enough stuff that you will usually get a good deal anyway. There are many other good sellers as well.

Sioux, Chicago Pneumatic (not related to the "Chicago..." brands you see at Harbor Freight) make good guns and there are numerous CP clones, such as Avery. Study the photos carefully on the clones to be sure they really are copies. My older ATS gun, bought new in the mid 80's has a lousy trigger, I understand newer ones are acceptable, but those I have tried aren't up to the level of my Sioux and CP guns.

Man, there is so much tool info on this site, I suggest you do a search.
