Default A/W Cert. and Registration

I think I have seen posted here the steps and documents required to get the plane airworthy but a search yielded no results. Probably searched with the wring terminology. Does anyone know of a How to license a Homebuilt for DUMMYS?

If you havent' done one before, the EAA makes a nice packet with all the required information. It would be well worth the purchase, $12.99 if you're a member.

Additionally, FAA AC 20-27F, Certification and Operation of Amateur-Built Aircraft, will be of big help.

Many of your questions are probably answered here on the EAA Website.

Its in the members, homebuilders area, you need to log in to the site.

Yup, your local FSDO office shold have a free packet to give you, or mail to you if you are not close by.

Also, if you have Kitlog Pro, it's got the AC and the forms. Helps to check with your inspector, too; some of them like to see some items ahead of time and they can also answer questions about the process as they will be doing it.
