Old Marvel Carburetor: Keeper or Junk?

I have a freshly rebuilt military carburetor still "in the can" from the late 60s. It's a 1bbl updraft, 2-3/16 bore. I'm looking for a source where I can learn about its application, or maybe someone here already knows... I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I know nothing about this. Ultimately, is it of any use on a future RV? ...or any use at all?

Looks like it's from a helicopter engine (TVO-435); I'm pretty sure that's what the "V" stands for:

10-4404-1 is a very popular and very common O-540 carburetor. Don't throw it out! It definitely has value as a core or a good used carburetor for an O-540.

In doing my homework ... I see that the O-540 has 2 carbs listed - 10-4404 and 10-4404-1. The -1 variant is on the O-540A15D, while the other is on the reminder of the O-540Axxx types.

What's the difference between the two ? Are they essentially interchangeable ?
