Where is a good place to get insurance for a tw RV8? I called Avemco and found them to be high. Where's the best bang for the buck? Well, maybe a bad term for an insurance post.......

I'd also recommend Skysmith.

Avemco has always been several hundred dollars higher than other sources for insurance on my Interstate.

I thought they were high as well - I stopped by their booth at Osh and inquired about insurance for my -6A project. I have about 800TT, CP-ASMEL/IA, and they said it might be as low as $3000/year for a -6A with a 90K hull value. Wow.

I've been using Nationair and been pretty happy with them. Not as friendly as they used to be when JT was there but still pretty good service.

I'm working with Skysmith on some life insurance and would transfer my A/C policy there if I become disgruntled with Nationair.

NationAir. I've been dealing with Jenny Estes (877) 475-5860.
