I listend to a talk about this site at OSH 2008.
They stressed NOT TO USE IT IN REAL FLIGHT PLAINING YET.
But the convection page will show you the weather and where the computer model "thinks" it's going ... as well as the past proformance of the model.

At lease it's something to take into account when looking at the weather.
