Default Will stock alternator & starter fit?

Another -9A builder says my 60 amp stock alternator and maybe the stock Lycoming starter won't fit inside the cowl on my 9A. Alternator is about 6 or 7 inches in diameter. Engine is an O-320 D1A. Bought the engine used with 250 hrs. since new so I would like to use the stock starter & alternator rather than tossing perfectly good stuff.

So, will they fit?
