Default Transponder Encoder Question

I ready to order my avionics panel and I'm debating whch Altitude Encoder to order. The SAE5-35 and TCI micro are both fine encoders.....to be used with a Garmin 330 Transponder. I guess what I'm looking for are suggestions, what the pro's and con's are and general comments as to which brand has a better trackrecord, etc.....

thanks

Henry

Default You mignt not need one------

FYI, if you are using an EFIS of some sort, check with them------many of the current crop of them have an encoder built in.
