Default The Rewards of the Internet!!

Several months ago I posted this item, which at the time I was hesitant to do
http://www.vansairforce.com/communit...ad.php?t=30623
But since I did, aside from the nice replies on this forum, I also received an email from an old EAA friend that I hadn't talked to in over 20 years, who had moved to Florida, and I just heard from a gentleman who owned Ercoupe N99552 several years before I did.
He sent me a scan of his logbook showing he soloed in the plane in 1967. I soloed in it in 1972
We talked on the phone for some length, and I learned a little of it's history before I owned it.
We're in the process of scanning some photos of the bird for him to show him how it looked after we had done all the mods possible.
The power of the computer!! Sure makes an old pilot feel good...
Regards
Jack
RV9A, N99552
Hope to have it painted and back flying by next week!!
