Default Brake resevoir firewall penetration

...should it be sealed? If so, is Proseal or high temp RTV preferred? The -6A plans don't mention it, but it seems odd to leave it unsealed.

The other builder in my hanger, building a -7, hasn't sealed his so I'm wondering if not sealing this penetration is common or not.

Try 3M fire barrier. The stuff I used is good to something like 3500 degrees and is oil/gas resistant.

Check some of your local hardware stores, I was able to get a tube for my caulk gun.
