Default MX20 question

This is a bit off topic since it's not going in my quick-build 8, but here's my question:

Will an old Garmin 155 (IFR tso'd for enroute and np approaches) feed information to an MX20? I figure it's a long shot, but I'm trying to find a way NOT to buy a 530 for a bonanza I'm considering purchasing.

Update:
After some research, it seems both the gps155 and the MX20 have RS-232 serial ports, therefore I THINK they would be compatible, as far as sending/receiving position information. I'll probably try to find an avionics shop and have them bench test the two with each other before I take the plunge on the MX20.

But, by all means, anyone with experience in either radio feel free to chime in.
