Default XNDR antenna installation location

Hi. I'm about to cut fuselage bottom skin to account RAMI XPDR/DME antenna. I would like to place it just in the most forward part of the fuselage, between pilot pedals. It will stay at about the same height of left fuel vent, below brakes bracket.

Here, there will be the minimum 3 feet separation from the instrument (which will stay in the right part of the panel) and the coaxial will be as short as possible.

I think it will not make an obstacle to pedals.

Please, if you have any suggestion, it will be appreciated (before the cut").

To see a photo of the planned installation, go to the following link, at the bottom of the page.

Thanks.
Camillo
