My grandfather took me to Mitchell Field on Long Island in the late '60's to show me it. He said they were going to put a mall there. I was 4 or 5. I never heard of a mall. He wanted to show me this piece of history before it was gone. Looking at those pictures it brought back good memories! Thanks again. It's good to back every once and awhile.
