Default Archos Recorders

Hi,

There was a thread about a year ago discussing the use of Archos recorders to record video from a bullet camera. I am thinking of getting a 4Gb 605 with DVR travel adapter and using it with a cheap bullet camera initially - until I figure out what I am doing. Does anyone have any experience of using one of these devices in flight? Any advice would be welcome.

Pete

Pete, I have one of the Archos setups with camera (just got the camera) for my yet to be finished 10.

One thing I found to be a bit of a disappointment was that the camera uses a not standard jack/plug.

I have played around with the unit, takes fine videos.

Have not used it in a plane yet.

Good luck, let us know what you come up with.
