Default New Lycoming Engine and S.I. 1435 (fixed pitch/constant speed)

I've got a brand new Lycoming YO-360-A1A from Van's.

I'll use it with a Catto fixed pitch propeller but my engine has a constant speed setup.

I know that I would apply the S.I. 1435, but people says that with the new engines this is not necessary.

Have you more information for me ?

Thanx a lot
