Default Tip: Fuel line/heater cover drill jig

When it came time to match drill the F982C fuel line/heater cover to the two floor stiffeners I figured my drill would wonder all over the place and mess up the stiffeners. To solve this I took a short piece of aluminum angle and drilled a hole in one side at the proper depth then duct taped it in place and drilled it using an #30 bit, which was then enlarged with a #11.

When making your drill jig, remember, the cover stands up taller than the AA floor stiffener. That?s why you see two holes in the side of my jig. Lucky for me I realized this before I drilled the first hole through the floor stiffener.
