I purchased the Cowl Saver baffle material but since my plane is not flying, I can't report on how well it works. It appears to be high quality and the smooth side is very slick so it should help to reduce friction on the cowl.
I purchased a from kit from Spruce that includes attach strips and soft rivets. The kit was the best value if you want to use the backing strips (better then buying direct from McFarlane when shipping is factored in). BTW, match drilling those strips took a lot longer then I expected.
