Cool Lube rod end bearing on intial install

I am working with the aileron push rods and wondered if they should be greased or lubed during the initial install. They seem to some with some type of lubricant. I did read a thread about folks using various lubricants on the conditional inspections, I just wondered if I should do something on the initial install. Hopefully it will be some spray product because the rods are installed at this point. I don't remember reading anything from the plans on the subject.

I use LPS2 on the rod bearing ends.
