Default Alternative Trim Switch?

What are people using for stick mounted electric pitch trim switches? The application in question involves a custom made hardwood grip with a top surface diameter of 1.25". The PTT switch is mounted on the forward surface of the grip. The standard hat switch ($50) is not needed given that the aileron trim is manual.

I've searched the archives without success. I'm hoping that someone who has already invented this wheel can direct me toward the simple solution.

Thanks in advance,

Why not put other functions on the unused hat switch positions? I put Nav and Com flip flops there. I rarely use the Nav one but LOVE having the Com flip there.
