Default Hmmm

A really big disadvantage of this unit is that it requires cell phone service and not just cell phone service but GSM service. Most of us carry cell phones all the time anyway.

Spot has disadvantages, but it should work anywhere within the 48 continguous US states and over large parts of the populated portions of the rest of the world.
