NO FUEL STOP IN 2008 AIRVENTURE CUP

Inportant information for AirVenture Cup Racers! Copied below is the word I just received from the race Chairman Eric Whyte on the question of whether there will be a no penalty fuel stop in the 2008 race as was tried last year in the 2007 AirVenture Cup Race.

As it stands right now we are not plannig a fuel stop. We just don't have
the manpower to do it this year and there doesn't seem to be a need..

Eric as I am filling out the entry forms I am reminded that I need to know
if there is going to be a no penalty fuel stop or not. If there is I will
fly with my tip tanks removed if not I will probably install the tip tanks.
Of course all of the extra tank, range and weight questions will be
answered differently for each configuration.
