Default Propeller Governor

I bought a Lycoming IO540 D4A5 from Wentworth for my RV 10 project. I am almost ready for reassemby, (with the help of Aircraft Engine Specialists in Chandler) My question is about the governor that came with the engine. The engine came out of a Piper PA24. Is this governor compatable with the Hartzel Prop that Vans recommends for the RV 10? Additionally I too am intersted in where one can get seals and or a rebuild kit for this component.

Default Propeller Governor

Well I found out that I have a Hartzell governor. It is a F4-4 and should work with the prop. I found a prop shop in Tucson AZ. I am waiting for them to call me back on an estimate for the rebuild. All he needs is the prop type, engine type and he said that he could set it up to work with the prop.
