Default TruTrak/AVMAP GPS

Good evening all

I'm brand new to the forum this evening and hope I get things working properly.

I need some help.

I recently purchased a TruTrak autopilot for my RV7A project and the AVMAP EKP-IV gps both of which I should be installing in the next couple of months.
I actually have the servos installed now.

My problem is that I was just informed by the TruTrak folks that when they tested the AVMAP GPS 3 months ago they found that the autopilot had to make small corrections every second or so to stay on course and this continued no matter what the weather or wind circumstance may be.

I'm hoping someone out there has the combination installed in their airplane and can let me know how the combation is operating.

I love the AVMAP gps - its big, very bright color, easy to operate etc and don't want to change if possible.

Thanking in advance

Ron B
