Question FWF Connectors

I would like to have a 5 circuit connector to my P-Mags to make installation/removal a little easier. I have plenty of the AMP "Mate-n-Lock", but I'm guessing that they are not suitable for the heat of the engine compartment. Is there an "approved" connector that is normally used for FWF applications?

The "approved" Mil-Spec connectors cost many arms and legs....

But the good quality, weatherproof, used in engine compartment, automotive Weather Pack ones should be really good for your application.

Should be easy to obtain, one source here....

This page shows the built-in seal...

This is the connector that came on my Jeff Rose EI magneto pick up lead.

Those Molex connectors should work just fine... but then, fewer connectors inline would only increase reliability. I'm not sure you need additional connectors. have seen a PMags being removed/installed a few times and that connector never came up as a sticky point... overall it is a straightforward procedure.
