Default Worn out drill

Wait - don't throw that old drill out. I thought I finally had worn out my Dewalt 14.4v - 90% of ever hole drilled, countersink, saved wrist on screws and old faithful appeared to be giving up the ghost. Batteries are round two and the extended ones so that wasn't it.

I was talking with the guys in maintenance at work. I got the "did you replace the brushes - we do it all the time". Well no, didn't think about it.

A ten spot later, few bucks shipping, and I thought the thing was gonna break my wrist.

Considering someone just said they hit rivet 14,000 on one of the post, I would venture to say that the Dewalt drill lived up to its name. It even had a year of home repairs on it including building furniture before the first kit ever showed up.

Darn, I was looking forward to a brand new tool!!!!!

Vroom Vroom.
