Default USB Port Fitting

I have an "OBAM" nav system based on AnywhereMap that I want to equip with a USB port on the face of the display housing. Can anyone point me to
anything that will allow me to permanently mount a USB port through an
opening in the front of my display enclousure so that I can readily update
my nav software and database using a flash drive? I would like to install a port that just barely protrudes through the casing of the enclosure but with a fitting of some kind that rigidly holds the USB connector in place on the back side. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Lee...

This might work for you especially with a little hot glue or silicon on the back to hold the back side.

Default Call GRT

Hey Lee, give Grand Rapids Technology a call - I think they were selling bulkhead USB connectors, because many of us like to extend the USB from the back of the EFIS displays up to the panel. I have a local electronics parts house that sells them surplus for less than a buck - very common in the computer world.
