Race to Ridgeland (3J1)

Everyone: One of the most fun fly-ins in the Southeast each year is our small-town, county airport fly-in at Ridgeland Airport, South Carolina coming up in two weekends (3 May, 08). In addition to the handicapped "Race to Ridgeland" itself, there are also trophies for "Fastest Overall", the Spot Landing Contest, and two prizes to be given out at the discretion of the Airport Commissioner (special thanks to the "Allen Groupe" for their generous donation). There will be "church lady" food and beverages, caps, T-shirts, vintage aircraft, radio control aircraft demos and simulators for the kids (young and old), formation flying, and much more.
