Default Landing Gear Leg Stiffeners

How many of you TW pilots have had to add the gear leg stiffeners? I am about ready to start taxi tests, etc. and would like to know if I need to add those items rather than try it and see. Thx

Rolly, Van told me not worry about stiffeners unless I had wheel shimmy.

Rolly,

You won't need them on your -9. The thing lands so slow there is no shimmy.

I pulled the wheel pants at 115 hours and they still looked brand new.

Best of luck getting your -9 in the air!
