Default 430W - SL30 crossfill?

I could have sworn that I've read about it being possible for the 430W to crossfill frequency information to the SL30, but now that I actually have the stuff on the bench and running, I can't find any mention in the 430 literature on how to do it or any empirical evidence of it ever having been successfully done in the history of mankind.

I have, however, found evidence of using the 496 to crossfill data to the SL30, and I have successfully made that work.

My current setup has the 430 filling flight plan data to the 496, which in turn fills frequency data to the SL30. It works beautifully, but it's heavily dependent on the 496.
