Default FAA AD 2008-06-51 Precision Airmotive Hex Nut

I got an AD in the mail about a hex nut coming loose.Okay, I'll check it, but what the heck are they talking about? You think it would kill them to put a picture of what it is we are suppose to check?

It's PN 365533, well shoot! That explains it all! DUH!

I found a picture of the hex plug, but it is in a PDF format. If you would like me to e-mail it to you shoot me an e-mail, or Google PRS 107.

Default Mine was loose

I checked mine yesterday. The engine has never been started. (TMX IO360). The plug could be turned about one sixteenth of a turn by hand. I would strongly advise that everyone who has a "listed" engine perform the check!

Please use the thread in the link Pete provided from now on.

Gonna shut this one down. This really is a safety issue, and should be in that forum.
