Default Upgrade your old LRI

If any of you have an LRI (lift reserve indicator) installed in your aircraft -- Alpha Systems AOA is offering an upgrade to the newest AOA mechanical gauge. You can read about all of the details from their website
http://www.alphasystemsaoa.com/upgrade.htm

This gauge could save your life!

I really like this AOA, especially the electronic one with the blue light.
I hope they are at SNF or Oshkosh this year. This may be the year I get one.

Default No Thanks

I chose LRI especially because it is pneumatic only, needing no electricity. I also like the wide range of values that can be read from stall to best glide.

I don't see where the new display is any significant improvement. But that's just me, I guess.

Actually the mechanical gauge from Alpha Systems requires no electricity as well. They have both a mechanical and an electronic option

I have the LRI also and see no reason to consider this "upgrade". Maybe I'm missing something
