Default Hot air box rebuild.

My RV4 has a Cessna style, metal riveted carb heat box that has an issue with the rubber gasket around the butterfly valve disintegrating. None has entered the carb thankfully. Anyone know of a procedure to disassemble and rebuild this animal? Looks likes lots of rivets to drill...

Thanks

Default Carburator heat box rebuild

F. Atlee Dodge of Anchorage, Alaska rebuilt one for my Cessna 180. They did a beautiful job, but were very expensive. I believe that it was money well-spent, given the important function this piece has.
