Default Oil: GALLONS to fill a Lyc for storage?

I got my O-320 home, checked the archives & called Lycoming about the best way to preserve it for the next couple years. Lycoming rep said to fill it all the way with cheap automotive oil, same as some on the forums said.

So, how much did it take? 7 gallons! Had to tip the back up a little to fill it all the way and watched thru the breather port to see how full it was getting. Good thing I only paid $6.59 per gallon!
