Default Foil Tape for Firewall insulation

Can anybody refresh my memory on where to get the aluminum foil tape used on the cockpit side of the firewall to secure the insulation. It's 2 inches wide, has paper backing that you peel off to reveal the sticky side. The roll I have is made by VentureTape. No product number but it says its C.W. Cold Weather Formula.

I've about run out of mine and I feel certain I got it from Van or Avery's or Aircraft Spruce but I can't find it listed on any of their sites or catalogs. Maybe I'm calling it the wrong thing.

Thanks.

Chris

Default VentureTape

Chris,
Try www.venturetape.com

Toll free # is 800-343-1076

They list a foil tape under both industrial and automotive that meets milspec, etc. and sounds like what you used before.

Good hunting,
Mike

Anywhere they sell Heat and AIr Ducts, Lowe's, Home Depot should be sources.
