Default Airshow discounts

I'm almost ready to get started on an RV8 and was wondering if it matters when I order the kit. Does Vans offer discounts at any of the airshows? I'll be at Oshkosh and was thinking about Sun-n-Fun.

Default No discount, but....

Van's doesn't offer a discount, they are already quite well priced. You can however save money by watching the classifieds sections. You can pick up tools and empennage at a discount quite frequently....

Want an insider secret??

Make good friends in the off season with an attending manufacturer/vendor of choice and then get a good schmooze on! Vendors usually get as many wristbands for the week as they request

If you KNOW that you're going to order, you might consider ordering BEFORE one of the big shows to get your place in line before everyone waiting to look at the show....I did that (ordered my QB a couple weeks before SnF and saved myself several extra month's wait in the delivery line....
