OK? so I admit I?m waaaaay over-thinking this but here goes. My wing are on order but I still have 4 weeks before they ship. I?m considering changing my mind on the type of fuel level sensors I?ve already ordered. I plan on putting inverted fuel and oil in because I LIKE to hang by the straps. I ordered the capacitance plates because I thought it would be better than having the floats bang around every time I went negative. The down side of the capacitance plates is that they are calibrated to one the type of fuel (av gas vs. mogas) so if you add anything other than what you are calibrated for the quantity reading is erroneous. Who out there does a lot of negative G flight, has the floats and can comment on the effect of negative G flight on the reliability and accuracy (over time) of the float type fuel senders.
