Default PLB

to those of you that have or know more about Plb's then I

I am very interested i purchasing a plb but i am not sure which one. my needs are simple i want it in the RV when flying and when i go snowmobiling i am often in very remote areas with other people and cell phones are of no use

question

do i buy one of the older units and save some money?

buy the latest acr model and pay more?

It sure is a nice feeling to know that if you need it they can find you within about 5 ft, if you have a newer one with GPS.
