Default E-bus vs. main bus suggestions

I have looked and looked, but I can't seem to find it anywhere! There was a thread some time back where people offered up their suggestions regarding what to put on the main bus and what to put on the E-bus. Can somebody please point me to it? I would like some suggestions on this subject.

Thanks.
