Default Cutting plastic tubing for Pitot/AOA

Hi,

Hope everyone's having a good Sunday. I'm putting together my pitot/AOA in the wing, and I've got the kit from SafeAir1. What's the best tool for cutting the plastic tubing to ensure a square cut on the end? If the cut's not square, it won't seal. I'm also having difficulty getting the fittings to hold the plastic tubing tight. Is there a trick to that also?

cheers
-John

Default best tool i found

This type of cutter from home depot or anything close works great at giving a firm snip without bending, hacking or mushing.
About $8, and will cut any type of poly/tube up to a couple inches.

I bought one of these and it works great on both Nylo Seal and Tygon. I cut a bunch of nylo seal with a razor blade but when I decided to re-do my plumbing I bought this. Much cleaner cuts and many times faster then the razor.

My SafeAir kit came with a recommendation for cutters from Sears. They were about $12 and work great, for lots of other things too, like cutting large wire!
