I ordered and received from Vetterman a pair of short exhaust extensions for my 8A. They are turned down abour 15*, about 5" long, are held on by SS clamps, work great.

Call Larry. He's really helpful. I have an 8a and he usually recommends the downturns for them. He did a great job of telling me what to watch out for in my installation and sent me a set of down-turned tips. I had them in a couple of days. Since every plane is different, he really prefers to give individualized instructions over the phone.
