Default Cool little voltmeter

Take a look at this voltmeter. At only $40 plus shipping looks like a good deal and stone simple. Only drawback is it don't look like it can be dimmed.

I've been using the LCD version in my RV-8 to monitor the main bus. Works flawlessly. You can use a dimmable post light with the LCD, or I think they will sell it with an internal backlight.

I have something similar, but only in LCD, not LED. One thing I learned is that the unit may need to be protected from the charger current type, if the unit is monitoring and wired to a buss or battery. I understand that some of the modern pulse chargers used for AGM batteries actually pulse the voltage/current beyond the tolerance of small digital voltmeters, and they may need some protection.
