Default Dumb tank sealing tricks- Or- Lessons I learned

Hi,
Just finished closing up my tank - again- thought I would share some of my dumb mistakes.

1: Make sure you have a good bead on those outer ribs before you push in the baffle...
2: Dont be 'clever' and put some Permatex on the fitting thread, and THEN proseal..... they dont play well together.. Its a real pain to take the flop tube out again...clean it up..then put ONLY proseal on it and re-install.
3: After sealing up your tank (without the cork gasket), with a nice bead of proseal on the cover plate, wait LONGER THAN 4 DAYS before re-testing the tank.... ask me how I found this out.

Anyway, thats it for me.... feel free to add your own tricks to this thread.
