Default HS glass tips

How have most people finished the leading edge of the tips on the elevators. Mine have a little gap between the weight & glass when looking head on at them. The tips have nutplates & screws, but I thought about using epoxy to hold the leading edge tight to the weight. Or profile a little extra lead off the leading edge & glassing it over which would make the tip removeable still?? Any ideas?

I used epoxy and clamped the fiberglass around the weight per plans on my 7. I installed the tips using rivets.

Thanks Rocky that's eventually what I did on my 8. The plans have no detail in this area.[/quote]
