Default Whelen gets 14V LED nav strobe comb approved

I'm on a mail list and just got this and passing it on.

The 71110 was TSO approved on the 23rd of January. List price for the 14 & 28v versions are $375.00, Distributors have been taking orders. Whelen is exhibiting at HAI in Houston, Booth #3418 later next month. Orders not in the system may take as long as eight weeks to fill. Thanks for your patience.

They sent me a little picture of it. That is all I know:

That's like a Beechcraft part price!

My wallet hurts just thinking about them.

Got an early set for a friend to replace the (<200 hours) "classic" style. Interestingly when they are OFF, you cannot tell the color as the lens is CLEAR.
