Default Any ATP (Airline) Pilots?

I guess this is a forum I could ask this...

I'm currently in the Army as an Artillery Officer, just over 6 years service. I've been flying since 1999 and enjoy it as a hobby. One of these days I hope to have enough saved to start my own RV project (the wife already supports me!). Most recently I've been bitten by the "I wonder what a career as an ATP would be like" bug. Can anyone out there give me some advice? I know it involves a lot of training, schooling, and money. I already have a 4 year degree in Aerospace Engineering (yes, and in the army!)...so I'd just need the flight training. Please drop me a email if you're able to give some advice to me. Thanks!!

Looking to build an RV-10 or -14 when the Army stops sending me around the world (Korea bound for the next 3 years!).
