Red and Larry decide the dates and I haven't talked with them yet, Jay. I'm pretty sure I'll hear from them in the next couple of weeks.

I believe that the organizers mentioned last year that it was being moved to the first weekend in October from now on (as it was in 2007). Don't know if that is going to be the case.

BTW, the Canadian Snowbirds are in El Paso that first weekend in October. For those of you that haven't seen them, they are quite a treat. Not the raw power and noise and crispness of the Blues or T'Birds, but a much more artistic presentation.
