Default what is an alternator blast tube?

Was watching the Orndoff "RV Systems" video last night, and he mentioned installing the "Alternator Blast Tube". What is this, and what is it for?

It's a tube directing ram air into the alternator for cooling.

Hiya Phil

It is just a piece of tubing (I used left over corrugated stuff from wiring) that directs cooling air from the high pressure side of your baffles onto your alternator to keep it cool. You should do the same thing for your mags.

You can see in this picture the black, corrugated cooling tube for my mags (I didn't take a picture of the alternator one).

Cheers
