Default Oil pressure point?

On the xp360 there is two points next to each other to pick up the oil pressure. Should I use steel, alum, brass or ? Also, what type of fitting should it be? 1/8 male-1/8 male, 1/8 male-1/8 female? I would rather use a straight fitting. Also I have looked at most of the a/c suppliers and not sure what to buy. Any suggestions?

Default

I used what's called out in the FWF plans... VA-128 fitting

It's really a good idea to have a fitting with restricted flow there..

Default Fitting

You can make your own va-128 fitting by drilling the pipe thread end of the fitting out and tap to #10-32 or 1/4-28, depending on the size of the fitting you're using.

Take a properly sized bolt. Drill a #60 hole lengthwise centered in the threaded end of the bolt, and screw it tightly into the fitting. Cut the bolt off flush with the end of the fitting, dress and clean making sure there's nothing left to contaminate the oil.

Results in a $19.00 saving with 10-15 min. of work.
